What we store
When you create an account we store your email address and the profile details you choose to add (display name, handle, bio, optional location). If you sign in with Google we store the account identifier Google provides; we never see your Google password.
If you use the vault we store the collection items you add, including quantity, condition, grading details, private notes, and any purchase price you record. If you use trades we store your listings, wishlist, offers, and trade messages.
What is public
Nothing about your account is public unless you publish it. Your vault, purchase prices, notes, and email address are never shown to other collectors. If you publish your profile, your display name, handle, bio, and (optionally) location appear publicly. Items you list for trade appear on the trade board along with their condition and grade; your wishlist product choices appear beside your listings. Collectors who have not published a profile appear only as an anonymous label.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in, plus short-lived cookies during sign-in flows. We run no advertising or analytics trackers.
Who else sees data
Sign-in code emails are delivered by Resend. Marketplace data shown on the site comes from eBay and StockX; nothing about your account is sent to them. We do not sell or share personal data.
Your choices
You can edit or unpublish your profile at any time, remove collection items, and withdraw trade listings. To delete your account and its data or ask a privacy question, contact us at support@ghostindex.net.
